As part of our 20th anniversary year, we are proud to annouce our commitment to two of the city’s leading fundraising organisations - Forever Manchester and The Booth Centre.

The partnerships will see the venue support both charities through fundraising, donations and services over the next 12 months.

Speaking at the launch of the collaboration James Allen, General Manager for Manchester Arena, said: “We’re delighted to start working with Forever Manchester alongside our continued support of The Booth Centre.

“Both charities share our commitment to the city and what makes these partnerships particularly special is the timing. This year we celebrate 20 years in Manchester whilst Forever Manchester celebrates 25 years and The Booth Centre 20 years. We’re now working closely with both charities on a number of projects to ensure 2015 is a year to remember for all.”

Nick Massey, CEO of Forever Manchester, said: “As a charity dedicated to raising funds for the communities of Greater Manchester we’re really excited about the prospect of working alongside one of Manchester’s most iconic venues. Hopefully the following months will see a range of fundraising activity that will make a significant and positive impact on the lives of the people who live and work in communities of our ten boroughs.”

Amy Hinks, The Booth Centre Development Manager, added: “We’re delighted to be working in partnership with Manchester Arena this year as we celebrate 20 years of supporting homeless people in our city. As a small charity, we depend on support from the general public and local organisations. The generosity of Manchester Arena staff and customers will enable us to continue to offer the vital support, advice and opportunities that homeless people need to move off the streets and rebuild a positive life in our community.”

Forever Manchester provides grassroots community and voluntary groups with grants to enable them to deliver real impact needed within local neighbourhoods. Find out more at www.forevermanchester.com
