2. He met Chad Hugo at band camp.
Pharrell and Chad Hugo have a long history working together (Chad Hugo was one third of N.E.R.D and is now the other half of music production and writing duo The Neptunes with Pharrell), but the pair go way back and were even members of a marching band together.

3. The Neptunes gained their first worldwide hit with Britney Spears' single I'm A Slave 4 U in 2001
Then in 2004 The Neptunes went home with two Grammy Awards for their work on Justin Timberlake's debut album Justified.

We can also add skateboarding to the list of his many talents. It's a sport that runs in the family, too - his brother Cato is a pro-am skater

He may be the man behind many incredible tracks as a producer, but Pharrell himself has only ever released two solo albums, In My Mind in 2006 and G I R L this year.

We've seen him work some great outfits and the man can really wear a hat, but did you know that he also co-founded the clothing brands Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream.

9. He called his son “Rocket Man”
No, that’s not a nickname – that’s his actual name. Rocket Man Williams, named for the famous Elton John song. Pharrell also wrote the song Rocket's Theme from Despicable Me for him.
